This one's for you.
Saw something interesting in the paper. In the religion section, an article written by a local pastor saying God wants us to be wealthy. We're called to live the "abundant life" and that life is "abundant" in every aspect.
Then, in the letters to the editor, somebody writing in criticizing Christianity for ignoring the issue of homelessness in Calgary and spending all of our money on ourselves and our institutions.
So...why exactly are we spending thousands on giant "seeker-friendly" auditoriums with state-of-the-art this and that? |
